Tuesday 15th Sep saw around 170 people gather at the West Yorkshire Playhouse for a public meeting on responding to the refugee crisis.
The event was a collaboration between Leeds City of Sanctuary, Together for Peace, LASSN and Migration Yorkshire. Its aim was to direct people to meaningful action and encourage collaboration and coordination across activities.
Aster told us the story of her journey to the UK and her experiences when she got here, before everyone moved into groups.
