Students from Lawnswood High School in Leeds have made a short film explaining why people seek asylum.

This short film was produced by the students as part of a media project. The film tells the real story of a refugee student from Somalia and is narrated by the student himself.

Lawnswood High School is one of the Leeds Schools of Sanctuary and the film also highlights the many different experiences of refugee and asylum seeker students and how their school has welcomed them to Leeds.
