Refugee Council are working with refugee families and are looking to recruit some volunteers for the below tasks.
Drop-in Volunteer
- The volunteer will be responsible for providing a welcoming service to clients and assisting staff members with giving information and support to the clients in different areas of needs.
Orientation/ Outreach
- The volunteer will be responsible for assisting project workers to help new arrivals settle in to their new homes, and finding their way around Leeds. The volunteer will work with different clients, depending on the need. Volunteers will enable clients to become increasingly independent by facilitating integration into the local area.
