On 21st October, the second ‘Refugees Welcome’ meeting was held at Mill Hill Unitarian Chapel, building on the success of the meeting in September at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.
We heard music from Eritrean singer Dawit and also heard from James Rogers, Assistant Chief Executive from Leeds City Council, before moving into working groups to discuss different topics including campaigning, donations, volunteering and ESOL.
